Our timber garden rooms feature a high roofline with striking glazing that spans into the apex. Large vertical panes of glass to the gables flood the room with light, emphasising the vaulted ceiling and increasing the sense of space. Large timber doors open to the garden, providing full-height views and ventilation.

How our garden rooms are built

The frames of our unique garden rooms are built from precision-engineered timber, selected for its stability, durability, and the quality of finish. 

We integrate our timeless designs with ventilation systems and solar-reflective glass to maintain an easily-regulated indoor temperature all year round. In addition to fully insulated solid roof sections and double or triple glazing, we use low-emissivity coatings to deliver excellent thermal performance.

Garden rooms, orangeries and conservatories

We design and build garden rooms, orangeries and conservatories, and are often asked how the three compare. Each is a distinct type of structure with its own character.

A garden room has a solid tiled roof with glazing to the walls and gables. It is typically the most thermally efficient of the three and the most versatile as a comfortable, year-round living space.

An orangery has a solid perimeter roof with a glazed roof lantern at its centre, giving it a more formal, architectural quality.
